Curriculum

Indus Public School curriculum is based on CBSE prescribed syllabus. The school has classes from Nur to X class. The medium of instruction is English. The main focus is on quality education. To maintain an ideal standard, ratio between the teachers and taught is kept with in reasonable limits. In addition computer science, general knowledge and moral education constitute the foundation of the school curriculum. Apart from these the school encourages students to participate in co curricular activities viz indoor and out door games, cultural activities, drill, physical training, judo and karate, skating knitting, Bhangra, Giddha, dances, participation in republic day parade, social activities, music, general knowledge and quiz competitions, debates and speeches etc. the school believes in imparting education that aims in all round development of an individual.

Formative years learning can be fun and lively environment, vibrant colors and interactive walls depicting the three realms of earth; land, air and water not only spell magic but also contribute to the evolutionary process.

The playroom has been specially designed keeping in mind the child’s requirements. Here they learn to share and care with their peer group and enhance their creative potential.

To nature a positive self-concept in children, emphasis is laid on play-way methods. Music plays a vital role and enables the little ones to improve auditory memory, verbal expression and motor skills.

AFFILIATION

The school is affiliated to all India central board of secondary education, New Delhi. The education ladder consists of 3 years of pre-primary, 8 years of primary and upper primary and 2 years of secondary education. This is followed by 2 years of senior secondary education. A public examination conducted by the central board of secondary examination, New Delhi is administrated, at the end of classes X.
